Our new LARP year begins! Members are now creating their characters and sending in their backgrounds! We have started to crank out our NPC gear and props at our build days. Our first event is Feb 18th. It's a gathering of the new players in a fun and casual event, a Tavern! All adventures start in a tavern don't they? You can check them all out on our Events page

About Us
In the Beginning:
Alliance Calgary LARP was founded August of 2011. A group of friends decided that Calgary was underserved for any type of boffer LARP and went on the hunt for a ruleset that we liked and were excited to be a part of. Welcome Alliance. This LARP has been around for many years. It was one of the first of its kind. Alliance was formerly NERO until a split in directors took the systems in different directions.
After several emails and confirmations Calgary has decided to adopt the Alliance Ruleset. Now the hard work truly begins; preparing for next year's weekend events.
Where we're going:
We want to bring a fully interactive boffer LARP to Calgary and area. We will be working in conjunction with other LARP clubs to harmonize the LARP scene in Alberta.
Team Bio:
| (The Owner: Ops): Cory Fliegel is an avid RPG player and business owner. When asked to be a part of this exciting enterprise he jumped at the chance. Although he will not be a PC in this campaign, his role will be to ensure each weekend runs smoothly as possible. As well he will be NPCing the High Magus Archmage, head of the Arcane Order. In this role he will also be head of the Ritual Magic marshals and work with Mages for any PLOT item they are looking for. | |
